NA 162 Sahiwal Chichawatni – PTI and PMLN Candidates Out from By Election

Lahore/Sahiwal (Thursday, August 25, 2016) – Yesterday Lahore High Court (LHC) has announced his judgement and termed both candidates of PMLN and PTI dis-qualified for centesting by election in NA-162. This halqa is located in Tehsil Chichawatni of Sahiwal District.

PTI’s candidate was Rai Hassan Nawaz and PML-N’s candidate was Zahid Iqbal.

Polling in this constituency will be held on September 19, 2016.

Army Will Be Deployed in NA 63 Jhelum for By Election on 31 August 2016

Jhelum (Sunday, 28th August 2016) – Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has decided to deploy army men in the areas of National Assembly constituency. By-poll is being held on NA-63 seat on Wednesday, 31, 2016. Contest is between three candidates of PMLN, PTI and PPP.

Returning Officer of NA 63 Jhelum Mr. Khurshed Alam has told that this security step has been taken in view of occurrence of any untoward incident. Fauj will be deployed.

Lahore Airport Extension Project Approved by PM Nawaz Sharif

Lahore (Tuesday, September 6, 2016) – Prime Minister of Pakistan Main Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has approved to expand the Lahore Allama Iqbal International Airport. This Mega Project of Extension will cost Rs.60 Billion. This project will be completed in 2018. After Extension of Lahore Airport, The facilities will be increased.

31 Planes can be parked after extension instead of 7 Planes.

Karachi (Wed, 7th Sept 2016) – Tomorrow by election is being held in PS-127 Malir Karachi Halqa. There is contest of three sides. Between PPP, MQM and PTI.
