Syed Faisal Saleh Hayat contested 2013 general election as a independent candidate. He got 80700 votes in NA-87 Chiniot/Jhang National Assembly constituency. His rival PMLN’s Ghulam Muhammad Lali received more than 94000 votes and stand winner.
Few day ago the rumor of joining PTI by Failsa Saleh Hayat circulated in the press. But Makhdoomzada prefer to join his previous old political party.
