Shahdara Bridge (Pull) Extension for Metro Bus Service Lahore

Lahore (Thursday, May 19, 2016) – Lahore is mega city. It is spreading from all sides of the city. Shahdra is an important area of Lahore city. NA 118 lies in this area. Traffic from Gujranwala, Sheikhupra, Faisalabad, Gujrat, Silakot and Rawalpindi/Islamabad uses the Shahdara bridges. As traffic is increasing the old bridge is being used by all general traffic and Metro Bus Service commonly. Metro Buses uses same bridge as other traffic. This causes disturbances for the passengers of Metro Bus Service.
Now LDA is constructing an extension of this bridge (Pull). This will solve the traffic congestion problem at this point. Work has been started.
