Raja Riaz (PPP) Announced to Join PTI
Lahore/Faisalabad (Friday, May 13th, 2016) – Former President of Punjab Peoples Party Mr. Raja Riaz has announced to quit PPP and to join PTI. While Formal announcement will be made in a public rally (Jalsa) of Tehreek e Insaf on May 20, 2016 in Faisalabad.
Mr. Raja Riaz belong to Faisalabad city. He contested on PPP ticket from Faisalabad city.
In 2013 General Election 2013 (PP-65 Faisalabad) Mr. Raja Riaz Ahmad was defeated by PMLN candidate Haji Muhammad Ilyas Ansari with wide margin of almost 50,000 of votes. While his close rival PTI’ candidate Hammad Khan got only 15000 of votes
