PTI Yaum i Tasees Jalsa Islamabad – An Overview
Islamabad (Sunday, April 24, 2016) – Today Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) is celebrating its 20th anniversary. PTI was formed on April 24, 1996. Imran khan was elected its first chairman. After it creation PTI has participated in three general election held in 1997, 2002 and 2013. While PTI boycott the general election held on 2008.
In 2013 election PTI remained third party in terms of number of winning seats. While in terms of obtained votes, it stood at second position in Pakistan.
In 2014 PTI hold 1206 days Sit-in at D Chowk Islamabad. Imran Khan marched from Lahore to Islamabad on August 14, 2014. He terminated his Dharna after the tragic accident of APS Peshawar in which more that 145 student were martyred.
F/9 park Islamabad Jalsa
Today PTI’s chairman Imran Khan will address the big public gathering at Capital park of F-9 Sector park Islamabad. He may announce agitation movement against the Government of Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif (Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz). In last days he was telling the peoples for preparation of March toward Raiwind Lahore.
He has also denounced the Judicial Commission of Panama Leaks.
How many Peoples Will Participate in Jalsa?
it is expected that almost 30,000 to 50,000 persons and PTI supporters & workers will joined this jalsa. Almost 16000 chairs has been placed at the ground.
