How to get Computerized Children Birth Certificate/Registration in Punjab?
Lahore (Tuesday, February 16, 2016) – Government of Punjab under the leadership of Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has introduced revolutionary initiative for the birth registration of child in Punjab province. Department of Local Government and Community Development Government of Punjab has approved Birth Registration Strategy Punjab and Model By-Laws 2016. According to these laws no surchage or late fee will be charged in the process of registration of children birthday. Detail for apply Computerized Birth Registration Certificate is as follows:-
After birth of child within 60 days secretary union council or employee municipal committee is authorized the approval and issuance of birth certificate. After 60 and before 7 years Chairman / Administrator municipal committee / union council is authorized for the approval and issuance of birth certificate. While after 7 years of birth of child assistant commissioner authorized.
