Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif National Health Insurance Programme Phase-I – Applications Required
ATTENTION :- All Public, Private & Military Hospitals / Health Facilities
PRIME MINISTER NATIONAL REALM INSURANCE PROGRAMME
The Government of Pakistan is committed to the principles of “Universal Health Coverage” and approaching the goal through an envisaged health insurance scheme. On the Directive of the Honorable Prime Minister of Pakistan, Ministry of National Health Services, Regulation & Coordination is in the process of launching the first phase of a revolutionary Health Insurance Initiative with the title of “Prime Minister’s National Health Insurance Programme”. The program will cover expenditures of indoor hospitalization.
In the first phase the program would be launched in 23 districts in Pakistan including :-
Balochistan = Quetta. Loralai, Lasbela, Kech.
KPK = Mardan, Malakand, Kohat, Chitral,
Punjab = Narowal, Khanewal, Sargodha, Rahim Yar Khan,
Sindh = Shikarpur, Badin, Shaheed Benazirabad, Sanghar,
Azad Kashmir (AJK) = Muzaffarabad, Kotli,
FATA = Bajaur Agency, Khyber Agency,
Gilgit Baltistan = Diamer, Skardu and
ICT Islamabad.
All public, private and military health care facilities / hospitals in above districts covered during first phase and other metropolitan cities interested in the empanelment process and providing secondary or tertiary care services to program beneficiaries may download the “Hospital Empanelment Criteria- and “Diseases Coverage” from the Ministry’s Website www.nhsrc.gov.pk and submit their expression of interest along with list of their in-house available services to the below mentioned address for information and registration.
