NA 154 Lodhran – PMLN Siddique Khan Baloch Disqualify – PTI’s Jahangir Tareen Win Election petition – Re Election Ordered
Multan (Thursday, August 27, 2015) – Yesterday on Wed, August 26, 2015 an election Tribunal headed by Rana Zahid Mehmood Disqualified PML-N’ MNA from NA-154 Lodhran-I due to his Qualification Issue. This election petition was submitted by Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf central coordinator Mr. Jahangeer Khan Tareen. Mr. Siddiq Baloch was elected on independent candidature. later he joined PMLN. While PML-N Candidate Mr. Rafi uddin Shah stood at third position by securing 45000 votes. Judge ordered Re-election in this National Assembly constituency. Irregularities also observed in the Polling on May 11, 2013 Election.
After listening judgement of Tribunal, Chairman PTI’s Imran Khan showed joy with MNA Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed in bani Gala Islamabad with others PTI’s leaders. While PTI’s Punjab Coordinator Ch. Muhamad Sarwar Celerated this victory in Lahore with Women/Girls workers of Party.
