Warid Telecom has recently introduced a new Value Added Service (VAS) in order to tackle emergency situations. With the help of Panic Alert Service, you will be able to dial a short code to send an emergency alert to family and friends containing your approximate location along with a link containing the location map.
In case the you have not added any number to your friend or family list, Panic Alert will automatically send your current location to last five dialed numbers. To subscribe Panic Alert Service, SMS “SUB” to 6667 or dial 6669 from your mobile and press “1”. In order to unsubscribe the service, SMS “UNSUB” to 6667 or dial 6669 from your mobile and press “4”
Charges:
- For Warid Prepaid and Glow Customers, subscription charges are Rs.0.30+tax per day.IVR
- Charges for calling 6669 are Rs.0.30+tax per minute.
- IVR Charges for calling 6669 are Rs.0.30+tax per minute.
- For Warid Postpaid Customers, subscription charges are Rs.10+tax per month.
- IVR Charges for calling 6669 are Rs.0.30+tax per minute.
To trigger Panic Call:
- You can trigger Panic Call by using short code and dialing *666#
- You can also trigger Panic Call by calling 6667.
To trigger Medical Panic Call:
- Trigger Panic Call through USSD by dialing *666*1# or call 6668
