The Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) officials have said that Pakistan is likely to host the series of two friendly matches against Afghanistan in the next month. one matches will be played in Islamabad, the capital city of Pakistan and the other match will be played in Lahore city.
Pakistan to host football series against Afghanistan
The Afghanistan Football Federation (AFF) has not commented regarding the series so far. In the meantime, PFF officials are saying that Afghanistan is interested in playing a lone friendly match in Islamabad. PFF trying to hold finalise the series and the dates will be confirmed later.
Pakistan is hosting the series in a bid to give the side further international exposure. PFF want to bring the international sport to the country and provide opportunities for our players to improve, something we can’t achieve without playing with better teams.
