Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said that “Saaf Pani Project” is being launched in 20 districts of Punjab to provide clean water to the masses. According to the sources, while speaking at a meeting in Lahore, he said that the project will cost twelve billion rupees. He said in the first phase such areas will be given priority where underground water was substandard. He said that it is a vital public interest project and there is need to implement it speedily.
