License suspended on telecasting anti-Judiciary programme

Islamabad (Breaking News / Friday, June 20, 2014) – Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) has suspended the license of satellite TV channel ARY Nes for 15 days.
This decision has been made on telecasting series of anti-judiciary programmes.
The said program was host by Mubashir Luqman in his programme “Khara Such”.
Geo Entertainment
PEMRA has also suspended license of Geo Entertainment channel on telecasting blasphemous programme. His licenses has been suspended for one month. Fine of 1 crore rupees has also been imposed.

Geo news licensed has been reinstated from today. PEMRA has orders all cable operators to lift ban on Geo News TV channel. It will be shown on old serial number.
